Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the FitFriends app and website. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use FitFriends.

Using FitFriends

You need an account to use the app. Keep your password to yourself and let us know at hello@fitfriends.quest if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

You must be old enough to consent to the processing of personal data where you live. One account per person.

Not medical advice

FitFriends helps you record and stay accountable for exercise. It is not a medical service and nothing in it is medical advice. Exercise carries risk. You are responsible for deciding what is safe for you, and you should talk to a qualified professional before starting or changing a routine — particularly if you have an existing condition or are recovering from injury. You take part in any activity you log at your own risk.

Partners and content

FitFriends is built around one-to-one accountability partnerships. When you accept a partner, they can see your workouts, proof photos, progress and shared chat, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only pair with people you are comfortable sharing that with.

You keep ownership of the content you create — your workouts, photos and messages. You grant us only the permission needed to store it and show it to the partners you have chosen.

You agree not to use FitFriends to:

• Harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone
• Send sexual content, or any content involving minors
• Share content you do not have the right to share, or that depicts someone who has not consented
• Impersonate another person
• Falsify workouts, or manipulate points, challenges or rewards
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service
• Collect other users' data by automated means

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

Points, challenges and rewards

Points, levels, challenges and partner rewards exist inside the app for motivation. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be adjusted or reset if they were awarded in error or obtained by manipulating the app.

Availability

We work to keep FitFriends running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. The service is provided "as is", without warranties, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profits.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. What happens to your data — including the 7-day window in which a partner can still save photos you shared with them — is set out in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use FitFriends after that means you accept the updated terms.
